    I'm just struggling for a recommendation on a external dvd dl burner, can anyone help?

    Wrong forum.

    But to answer your question - any one will do. They all do the same thing, pick one and go for it. If you want you can even just buy a regular internal DVD DL burner and then buy a USB external enclosure for DVD drives and that will work too.

    cheers, was just worried about getting one thats not up to task.

    My internal one wont do it, (laptop)

    got an LG one there and works fine..:D
