    I dialled *#7465625# into my phone and got the following; network lock off. Do I have an unlocked phone?

    yes you do.
    mines unlocked and thats what i got when i dialed in that.

    Would you just not have tried another carriers SIM and seen if it worked?

    I didn't have access to another carriers SIM to see if it worked...happy?
