Has anyone used this on their underarms? It's stinging and itching me so badly and I'm following the instructions to the letter! Last night was the third night and it stung so much I had to wipe it off and put on Sudocrem.

Does it just take a while to get used to it, or is it just not suited to my skin? I don't have sensitive skin at all so it's a bit strange. Thanks!

My OH used to use Driclor which I think is pretty much the same, make sure you're fully dry before using it, it should hopefully stop stinging after your skin gets used to it!

Thanks, I'm going to give it one more go tonight, last night seemed to be worse than the first two nights for some reason, had to wash it off after an hour, it was unbearable! Thanks for your reply!

Yes. I haven't used it every night, as it says for sensitive skin try every second night. I tried that, some nights were ok, and some nights were quite burning.

I wouldn't use it tonight, but leave it til maybe Sunday to give your skin a chance to recover.

I've used it for the last six months and think its great the only time I noticed itchiness was when I shaved and then put it on so all my fault.:o

I found out of all of them Perspirex seems to be the least harsh on the skin. Driclor absolutely ruins me!

It did sting like mad/make me itchy the first few times but my skin got used to it. Just DON'T shave just before/after! You should probably try a few different ones. Everybody is different :)

As far as I remember from when I used it you are not supposed to use it every day, maybe every third or fourth? also only use a small amt. I had the same itching but when I only used a small amt it wasn't as bad and still worked.

Thanks for all the replies. According to the instructions, I've to put it on every night for a week and reduce it after that. I have no residual rash or redness or anything today, it's just mad stingy and itchy when I put it on! I haven't shaved since about a week ago so I know it's not that. Ok, I'm leaving it off tonight, and will give another go tomorrow night and see how that goes.

I used driclor for months, and the pain eases off but the smell was horrid and i found that after six or so months that it didn't work as effectively for me. So I've switched back to Mitchum instead.
