I haven't flown with them myself but have never heard anything good about them, most reviews are very poor.

They're not great tbh, but that's a great price. And transfer at Amsterdam is painless.

Take a sleeping pill and wake up in Bangkok!

Yes it's a good price alright especially from cork, the reviews don't seem to be great about china air but i prob won't get any cheaper,

Also the return flight gets into amsterdam at 8 in the morning and leaves at 9 at night for cork so will get to head into city for a few hours also.

You'll be hard pressed to beat that price. As long as your ok with the long layover on the return leg go for it. Several of the wife's friends have travelled back to Thailand via China Air, and always had good things to say about them.

    Cheers,

I flew with them few yrs ago. Not the best airline. No back seat tv screens. But as op says, take a sleeping tab and ur grand. Google their safety record, not great !

Have flown before with them never again they have to be one of the worst airlines for longhaul out there, thy may be cheaper but imo not worth it.
