What are these taxes and charges for.

There may not be an Airport charge, but there are bound to be other taxes. Presumably their for the same thing as taxes and charges for travelling from Ireland: contributing to the exchequer.

Thanks Mike but even if there are taxes in bulgaria i am still paying over 30 euro per passenge in extra charges from Ireland. the only published charge i know of is the governmnet levy of 3 euro. what's the extra 27 euro for. It's not security levy as this applies to U.S only, it may be a handling fee but I don't know. I would like Aer Lingus and other airlines to give a comprehensive breakdown of their charges.
