    i was caught driving on my motorbike in the overtaking lane over 2 months ago and the garda issued me with a fine, i had placed the garda fine form on my bedside locker and had completely forgotting until recently i found it:o,

    it is over the 56 days now so i am expecting a summons ? what should i do , go in tomorrow and pay immeadetely (dont think it will make a difference?

    suggestions please , apart from being an idiot and forgetting the fine

    Once you're past the deadline it goes to summons. I don't think there's any flexibility with it at all.

    Once both the time limits for paying has passed its a summons and a day in court I'm afraid, nothing that can be done about it.
