I bought Take That tickets from a second-hand seller on Ebay.
The concert is on June 19th and the woman said she will dispatch as soon as she gets the tickets from the retailer she purchased them from.
Weird thing is she hasn't got the tickets yet so I'm starting to get really worried.
We have her contact details and all so that will help.

Sounds very dodgy to me, she must have the tickets by now, I wud get onto her straight away and tell her unless you have the tickets by tomorrow evening (courier them) that you are contacting ebay. I could be wrong but Id say those tickets have been issued by now. Then get onto ebay and report it, you will get your money back

Not dodgy at all - sometimes tickets aren't sent out by Ticketmaster (or whomever) until a few weeks beforehand.

What's her eBay feedback like? That's the indicator.

You could ring ticketmaster and ask if they have been sent out yet. As said they often do not send them out until very close to the event -this is to combat touting and also if the gig is cancelled I suppose they save on paper/post/admin.

I've never got tickets from ticketmaster until 2-3 weeks prior to the gig,

The problem with waiting until closer to the event is that it will be too late to make a claim on eBay.

Sorry but that's pretty bad advice imo.

Many ticket sellers will purchase online and await delivery of same by mail.
Once the listing clearly indicates 'Awaiting tickets from promoter / tickets not yet in hand', then I'd advise you to wait and contact your seller in mid May for an update from them.

It's against eBay rules to sell something you don't actually have, so you could cancel the sale if you wish. There isn't much else you can do. The tickets will either arrive or they won't, just like anything you buy on eBay.

I wouldn't panic yet o.p. Ive often seen that on ebay with concert tickets. As another poster said, the sellers feedback % is your best guide.

This sounds to me like the tickets have been sold by a cash-strapped eBayer , wishing to make some money now .

From my experience , tickets normally just arrive a few weeks before the event , and in your case , it will be too late to open a Paypal dispute .

Therefore , you need to firstly communicate with the seller , and see what they have to say about the situation .

It may also be best ,to open a Paypal dispute within the 45 days , and afterwards if the tickets are not forthcoming , you can escalate the dispute to a full claim .

Who would sell an item that they don't have . - there are people out there that will do this , but from my experience , they eventually will get caught out
