Male singer (Dublin) Looking to join/start rock band

I'm 18 with a very wide amount of influences and music tastes in all genres. Influences include Thin Lizzy, Queen, Mr. Big, Superchick, Linkin Park, Paramore, Jimi Hendrix, Gun's N Roses, Feeder, Jeff Buckley, Frank Sinatra, even Japanese rock bands. The list goes on and on. I would be looking to join/begin a more classic rock, heavy rock, funk rock or alternative rock band. Genre wise I'm very open, as long as there is lots of melody in it! Age wise once everybody is within similar age of late teens, early twenties I don't mind. I'm situated in south Dublin.

I'm a passionate singer with a strong voice capable of singing various genres and I practice daily (with a very musical based family that have Simon Cowell critic skills to correct me where I go wrong lol). I don't have band experience but being in one would really help to reach untapped potential and bounce ideas and skills of others too. I'm aiming to do a few covers, to really get serious into creating some original music and all in all have fun.

I currently do not have any demos I could send but I can make some quick ones easily when I have the time. I use Ableton and Mixcraft for recording. I'm still amateurish with them but I know my way around the main basic stuff.

I am learning guitar and shall be learning keyboard when i get one, however right now leaving cert comes first so they have to take the back burner until the exams are over. Please do send me some info on what you play and what kind of band you are in or trying to start when you can.

My name is dave I'm an experience guitarist i'm 21. The previous band I've been playing with have finished and I'm eager to get a serious band/act together ASAP.
