Travelling to California - teeth whitening?!

I was going to get my teeth whitened at the dentist til two different friends mentioned they'd had it done (different dentists) and I was a bit disappointed with how they looked! They were probably whiter, but not very noticeably so and neither drinks much coffee etc.

I'm travelling to California for a few weeks in the Summer and it got me thinking about the 'Hollywood' smile. I don't want the ridiculous false teeth look they seem to favour, but perhaps could the US be a better place for teeth whitening- do they have more options than here? Are prices similar to here? I don't want to spend too much but if I'm shelling out a few hundred I'd like some pearly whites :D

    Thanks!

    Hi there,
Whitening results vary considerably for many reasons, be it the in chair or at home systems. One of the main reasons is the bleach has degraded in transport (it needs to be refrigerated) and is no longer the correct strength by the time it hits your teeth...

I believe the KOR system gives very good predictable results. Be warned, your teeth will be very sensitive but no pain- no gain....
