Just wondering about my exam results and will I be getting an hons or pass degree.

My course is a three year honors and I have an average of 54%(2.2)

i failed one exam of my final year in summer 2010 and have to repeat it now in May.

The 54% average includes the first mark I got for the one I failed. Will they still give me an hons degree or will I be stuck with a pass degree

Any help would be appreciated as I am currently applying for masters and higher diplomas and don't know what to write down if I got an hons or pass degree

    Thanks

I'm not sure how it works these days, I think it was changed. But usually it was if you failed, you only got a pass. But, I am fairly sure its based on your overall average and only 40% of the repeated exam.

    Ask your course leader. :)

For me my final grade is the average grade of all final year modules only. Previous years are not taken into account in normal circumstances.
Repeated exams are marked at 40% unless their were extenuating circumstances.
