Good places to camp??

    Me and a few mates have decided to go camping next weekend.We would like to find a place where we can camp,fish and isnt to far from a good town or village to go out on the lash in!! nothing to mad just a place with one or two good pubs...

    We all live between Dublin and Laois and would'nt mind travelling within reason but not more than a few hours drive

    Doolin in West Clare is a great spot. Small village, three very good pubs, campsite is close by. I'd recommend that if ye don't mind the travelling.

    Roundwood in Wicklow mountains nice campsite, close to the lake and 5 pubs in the town
