I just had a look on iTunes to pre-order Death Cab's new album (I'm a huge fan). It's €13.99. Does anyone else think it's a rip-off? I remember Kings of Leon's being the same price, but you're getting 11 studio songs, 2 demos and a video when the album in stores (which I can rip at a higher sound quality) will be a similiar price.

I dont mind paying a tenner for mp3/AAC, but not more when I'm losing the sound quality and physical copy. In addition to this, Death Can for Cutie are not a big band so I'm finding it hard to understand how you can justify the premium price.

    What are people's thoughts/opinions?

    I agree.

Way too much for a download considering you can walk into Tower and pick up a new release on CD normally for somewhere between 10 and 13 euro.

There's a version without the bonus songs for €9.99
