Big improvement on last years lineup. Slash (Grandaddy as he is) is one of teh few artists i like that ive yet to see.

And the organisers who realise that if you can attract women to the gig, youll attract men and thus make alot of money

Lineup is quite rubbish, few acts I want to see. The Script and BEP have to be recognised as the worst headlining acts at a festival ever. And they still market it as "Europes favourite rock and roll weekend" :rolleyes:

Going as I've a free ticket and it would be wrong to break tradition.

Much more looking forward to EP.

Music festivals are awful. Why would anybody choose to sleep in a disgusting crappy tent in a field full of drunk idiots? And the music doesn't start until 2, what do you do for the 4 or 5 hours after you wake up?

Maybe it's because I don't get drunk (I tried damn hard at Oxegen too, still nada) that I couldn't appreciate it.

I wanted to go to Forbidden Fruit this year because I could go home at night and the lineup is pretty good but I'm too poor. Thinking about ringing Joe and complaining that I can't survive on the dole cos I can't afford music festival tickets :cool:

I don't mind this years line up, normally hate the Oxegen line up (Jay Z and Eminem represent my idea of hell). But I still just don't like music festivals. I'd rather see the Foo Fighters in an individual concert.

Used to do the two festivals, but this year, I'm just going to The Picnic.

For the price of an Oxegen ticket, and the money spent there, and the money preparing to get there for beer etc, I'd have a wicked Weekend in London or Barcelona or somewhere!

If you want to go to a decent music festival go abroad, it's the only way.

Festivals are brilliant end of, even oxegen which has its long list of problems. With a group of mates, you'll still have a class time.

tempted to go this year for foo fighters and the strokes.

Ill be at picnic no doubt.

I think there should be a law that prevents the use of the term festival unless there's going to be a donkey derby involved at some stage.
