From looking at their website http://www.phl.org/ground_transportation.html#trains It seems fairly straightforward to get from the Airport to the City Centre train station (I'm heading onward to Washington DC). Has anyone done this and can you advise of the time it took you to get from landing to the city centre train…

It seems fairly straightforward to get from the Airport to the City Centre train station (I'm heading onward to Washington DC).

Has anyone done this and can you advise of the time it took you to get from landing to the city centre train station (30th St?)? Are Amtrak very strict on tickets, ie if I've pre-bought a ticket for the 1655 train and I get there in time for the 1630 would I be able to get on it? (it's same price for both at moment).

Do US Airways pre-clear in Dublin for their flights to Philadelphia?

US Airways pre-clears And yes, the transport is very straightforward.
