Can anyone tell me who is obligated to repair broken fittings, i.e. insulation damage, broken light fitting and a broken kitchen drawer some other minor things.

Backstory, we've just gotten the lease and I've gone round the house documenting anything I've spotted. I'm going to the landlord tonight to discuss this however I'd like to know where I stand legally.

Have you already moved in? These are the type of thing that should have been sorted before move in.

The move in date was Monday but we are still moving out of our old place problem is I've only noticed these things after going round the house throughly without the estate lurking.

Take dated photographs. If htere is no progress, write a letter, enclosing the photos.

To a degree, you accepted the place as is, but the place still needs to be safe.

Already had all the photos but they weren't needed, landlord has already arranged for the repairs. Hurrah for decent people.
