3 Things I won't go near on my car

    The A/C
The Electrics (replacing something) generally I might try and find a loose connection or replace a sensor, but wouldnt think about the ECU.
    The Timing Belt

I'd prefer to pay someone to sort those bits.

Anyone you can recommend for that money? I contacted John Kenealy but he quoted €100.

I haven't used John in ages, but I don't remember him being that dear. I used to get about four cars together before calling him out to keep costs down - you could try getting a couple of boardsies together? :)

    Jesus €67.50

I buy that stuff for €30.00 and top up myself.Top up only mind you.

    Easy job to do.

Just find the low pressure pipe.Hook up the can.The guage has 3 colours on it.Red,green and orange.

Red means theres a problem, orange means top up and green means its already at the right level.

If its red get a specialist if its orange press the trigger and keep agitating the can until the guage hits green.

    Hope this helps.

Interdynamics 'Artic Freeze' Ultra Synthetic sounds like something Wile E Coyote would use, to try and catch the Road Runner.

My car pissed out its refrigerant completely over about an hour. Hope its not too poisonous as I was driving it some of the time and had a bit of a look around the engine bay when I heard the hissing.
Luckily it was under warranty at the time.

    Where?
Also note the EUR67 includes an EU Recyling fee, of EUR10 which you get back if you return the can and receipt (to Halfords).
