Pro's

- close to Cork, decent road
- decent Bus service
- has amenities

Con's

- Chronic traffic
- amenities not all that great, pubs are ok, centra is poor, butchers is decent
- Locals can be cranky
- Broadband is patchy

All in all OP it depends on what you're looking for really. If it's just a place to crash whilst you work and have a social life elsewhere it'll do the job.
