I dunno if its any help but save on laptops also had/have a certain toshiba laptop with a cash back deal like this. A few boardsies were able to claim the cashback as far as i know. Obviously, these cash back promotions are done by the manufacturer themselves though.

On the laptop itself, i'd say it is a very good deal alright, 3 year warranty makes it IMO, although Lenovo are a very solid brand as well

i have serviced my thinkpad t61 for many times from the IBM lot in the blanchertown business park. the first year of the warranty included carrier to your door but the rest of the warranty years you will need to carry it for them.

i'd defo get one at that price. less 'business looking' thinkpad+that keyboard+build quality(obv is not at the same level as the black thinkpad, judging by the reviews, but still better than most consumer line laptop).

Right so they didnt know about cashback, they gave me an email for the people who work with that. I have just emailed them there. About the warranty, she said most warrantys are international, but when you get your laptop you can check online and see which place it is registered in. Im guessing saveonlaptops register the laptop in the country its delivered too.

Thanks for that link. With sterling as it is there's only really the difference of 12-14 euro it in atm so it's still a good deal.

I have bought 3 or 4 laptops from saveonlaptops (and box.co.uk) who are the same in the past few months

Just select the option for non mainland shipping and they will ship. Also if you are VAT registered they will ship at the ex-vat price.

Ordered it and delivered in three days.Great laptop, but I really like lenovo laptops. Its lighter than my old dell vostro 15", but flies along.with delivery it worked out at €573 and I still have to claim my €100 cashback
