    Hi all,

Is anyone here available or can anyone recommend an individual who will replace a hard drive for a macbook pro? possibly the CD-ROM drive as well. Anyone that would be able to provide a quote for the parts and service of the job. Am not looking to go through a shop, I've heard there are some people who do it independently and do a much better job. Anyone up to it, let me know or if you know anyone who does it it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Muff.

Replacing a drive is pretty straight forward if you want to try doing it yourself - doesn't even void your warranty. Apple provide instructions for most models here. Make sure you have a backup of all your stuff, so you can restore your data. Time machine makes it' pretty easy.
