It will be fast, but I am sure that she will be welcome.

If I go, the missus will be with me, so you won't be the only one carrying extra weight.

    So that's your plan eh?

Bring the missus so you won't have to make excuses for being slow.

Probably reach Laragh around 7ish, you can always peel off there if you're stuck for time.

Might not make this due to a crumbling wheel bearing, but maybe.

Me and a friend will be going, his jetted-92 blade will more than make up for my restricted Super four.. i might even take off the back box to reduce drag a little although it does come in handy for carrying rancheros and coke.

Great way to meet people is to go on a spin with them.

I have actually met a lot of those people over the years, good people, and I will joing them for a spin or a pint sometime.

It's one of the rear wheel bearings, so no :pac:

I might make it, if I can get the bearing and get out of work early to fit it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76 ✭✭gardoyle27

    haha well i won't catch you, i'm on a cbr 125!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 225 ✭✭inchiuvatu

i loved my cbr125, except on the motorway.. hugging the tank i still couldn't get anything more than 110kph but on the twisties it was a great little bike... but i havn't been riding motor bikes long enough to be confident enough go flat out on any bike except on motorways.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 76 ✭✭gardoyle27

yeah i'm the same on my yoke. great for getting through traffic but brutal on motorway, i also wonder if it would get up the hill at kilakee if i managed to get over in time

Couldn't make it out, didn't get the bike sorted until almost 7.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 225 ✭✭inchiuvatu

Was a nice spin, he set off at 18:30 and except for a couple or rubbish road users was good craic, we even got to witness fender bender in a carpark in laragh. that was entertaining too! will certainly try make it out for the next round whenever that may be. :D

hope your bikes back in action after puttin in the effort.
