Can you spread out luggage allowance over many bags?

Pretty much as the title says. I'm flying with Malev, and can find nothing about the amount of bags I can take, just the weight. I have 3 little bags, and together they're under 20kg. Can I take all these?

    Thanks

I not sure about this. Maybe other boardier might be able to answer.

AFAIK most airline only allow one piece of luggage per person(either part of free allowance or pay for bag to check in). That will be different story if travelling in business class. I have read malev baggage allowance and somewhat it confusing. I say it one piece of baggage as part of free allowance.

You can be pretty certain it's only one bag! Airlines take into consideration weight for the fuel they need, but the pay a lump sum in fees for baggage handling, and if they go over that amount, they are charged, and they will in turn charge you! So you should stick to one bag 20kg!

Thanks for the input! Just got a very prompt reply from them on the email.

For future reference for other boardsies, they allow two bags up to the 23kg allowance. So now I just have to figure out if I can bring the third and how much it will cost.

All this trouble because I have an amazing petrol blue duvet I can't leave behind....

That's cool. Unusual but cool. 23kg? That seems quiet a random number!

Hope your duvet travels well ;)

    Have a good trip!

Thank you! Just did a trial run and the duvet fits!! Just as long as I bring nothing but my duvet....

Its not a random number. Its 50lb allowance or (22.7KG). Its generally the norm allowance for the likes of EU carriers on transatlantic flights.
