Bosch Aerotwin refils

    Hello all!

I got a set of VW Aero retro fit blades for my car and now I need a refill for them.

Halfords do not stock any refills large enough (21" and 19").
One shop that does stock refills big enough fit far too tight and end up shrinking lengthways in the blade or being under too much tension and generally being useless at shifting the water. Just jumping across the screen.

My problem is that if you look at the first picture the width of the rubber I need for it to slide in is quite narrow.

Does anyone know of anywhere that stocks a decent selection of refills?
Do any Bosch blade or VAGers own brand users refill their aeros? Its just this really thin part that is messing me up.

This picture is here because I am almost 100% that the Bosch and the VW ones you can get from dealers are the same. The only difference between mine and the one in the picture is that the "Bosch" is not there, but the shiny line that "Bosch" is printed on is there. Maybe useful to someone. :p

    Thanks all

I'm pretty sure Wurth do a refill as well.

    Thanks for the replies.

I will check with the VW garage local to me.

Sean, I remember the thread a while back when I asked about these Aero blades and I think you said to replace the arms with the areo ones but VW Belfast just said I needed the retrofit blades that fit the hook arm. The sales man was very reluctant when I said I wanted the new arms and blades but he probably thought I was a newbie. I am lazy so I went for the retrofits. =D

Surprisingly cheap too I have to say. I was expecting big money to "upgrade" to Aero but they were cheaper then a set of standard blades in local shops and Halfrauds.

Nice tip on that Wurth place. Looks like a nice shop. I may spend ages looking through their cataloge but they do say they have refills for Mark 4 Golf Aero blades. Only in packs of 20 though. I suppose taking the hit on that will work out for the best in the end.

    AMAZON! haha
