How would you feel in this situation?

I was driving along backroads to get home this evening, there was a crash on the usual road home. Given the gorgeous weather at the moment there was a good few people out walking & jogging. Most of them stepped in out of the way as I got closer so I could pass, que friendly waves all around.

However, there was one woman out jogging & I was stuck behind her for the best part of a mile because she wouldn't move in off the road even when the opportunity arose. Now she wasn't listening to an i-pod or anything so she could hear me behind her & glanced around a few times.

By the time I got past her my blood was boiling. As a regular walker/ jogger I always keep in to let cars pass & if the road is narrow enough I'll step into a gateway of a field for the one second it takes for a car get by.

So am I being a bitch about it or am I right to feel pissed off?

    How was her ass?

It looked good. She kinda had the figure of a boy but had a decent looking ass in fairness.

When I used to jog I always found that getting clipped by a rearview mirror always put me in my place pretty rapid.

I'd have stuck my hand on my horn and left it there until she moved.

There's something not quite right about that last sentence.

Was it the clip off the mirror or going through the windscreen that put you in your place?

How many asses did she have, that you couldn't get past her? Seven?

You should have sounded your horn and if that didn't work; knocked her down and made her blow your horn ;)

Just the one but it was a really narrow road, actually road is too generous a term to describe it.

Ah fcuk her, every year it's the same. Good weather=one thick bitch that thinks she owns the bleedin' road to run the cellulite off her arse.

Well at first it was the clip then it was being lifted into the brambles at the side of the road.

All in all I learned not to leave the house for a good 6 months.

OP, I think the issues here are about why women complain & how they have trouble guaging distance. Starbelgrade has these well covered...

Seems like a selfish ****. There's usually an against-the-grain-for-the-sake-of-it post by now though - invariably including something about being PC.

Every year I come across this & it's always one or two that manage to make my blood boil.
It's time for me to get over it. Until the next time.

Funnily enough I jog & walk these roads a few times a week without holding people up.

    Ah well, rant over.
