Eddie Hobbs and Keelin Shanley are back with a new series of "The Consumer Show".

Tonight's episode focuses on personal debt and the effect of the repossession is having on the housing market. :(:(:(

I saw a bit of this last night.

It very tame, no real investigation of consumer issues or bad practices by Retailers.

Not hugely relevant either, they discussed supermarket prices for ages and never included Aldi or Llidl in their comparison.

The report on the house auction had nothing to do with Consumer issues.

And their set is vary garish, tone it down a bit.

So overall, i wasn't terribly impressed.

Thanks Skid. I had planned to watch it but didn't get a chance so I sky+ed it instead. I think I'll be deleting it now. I really wish that RTE would do a serious comsumer affairs programme like the BBC's "Watchdog". I suppose the nearest thing we to it is the "Moan Show" (Liveline).
