Navigation useless since maps update

    Hi All
    I updated Google Maps on my Desire HD bout a week ago and since then I cannot used the navigation app, it will not find a GPS signal and when it does, it loses it after a minute or so.
    This is a problem for me as I use it quite a lot. Damn thing stranded me in Dublin yesterday and that led to quite a lot of taxi drivers swearing at me... :)
    Anyway, I've seen a lot of other folk complaining of the same issue on the interweb... by any chance does anyone on here have any insight into:
    • A fix
    • News of a new update to remedy the problem

    try opening maps or latitude first.

    Ya. This seems to be a fix of sorts. My navigation wouldn't work at all either after the last update. I uninstalled it and reinstalled immediately. But after the reinstall I opened maps first, then opened Navigation and it's worked perfectly since.

    How exactly do you uninstall Navigation?

    I thought that came with phone embedded like. How did you delete and reinstall?
