Looking to play some gigs

    Hey,

    We're a band based in Dublin and we're looking to play some gigs.

    Our preference would be for a pub or venue that would let us play for free so that we don't have to charge people in.

    Anyone got any suggestions of places that we could contact that might let us come and play?

    Any tips would be much appreciated! :)

    We've done a few before and then had a break for a while so looking to get our foot back in the door again, so to speak!

    What's the age range of the band and what sort of music do you play?

    Hey!

    Cheers for the reply. We're all aged between 25 and 28 and I guess our music would be described as rock music. We've a drummer, bassist, guitarist, singer and two violins.

    I can send you a sample of our music if you like?

    Anyway, if anyone knows of any pubs or whatever that might let us play or any nights for unsigned bands etc, send the info this way!

    Pretty much what Rigsby said except I'm a moderator, not the moderator :). I'd also encourage you to post up YouTube, SoundCloud, MySpace or whatever links to your music for people to have a listen to.
