Please people, I'm lost without a new show to watch and I can't really think of anything at the moment. I've already seen most of the great shows from the likes of HBO etc.

I'm in a real sci-fi mood and just finished up Battlestar Galactica, last night I watched the first episode of Supernatural and thought it was bloody awful tbh, although there must be something to it if it got 6 seasons...

    Anyway, lend me your suggestions!

    have you seen Firefly?

If it's Sci-Fi you want to watch, definitely try Firefly. It is a fantastic show that was shamefully cancelled after only 1 season. Great characters, great actions and great comedy

Have you seen the new Battlestar Galactica? Try Warehouse 13 or Chuck. One of my all time faves is an older show called Now and Again. It got cancelled after 1 season but it's quite fun.

Yep, finished the 4th season of Battlestar Galactica on Sunday, super show!! Loved it.

Seen Firefly too, one of my favourites!

I'll keep Warehouse 13 in mind, was actually going to watch that not too long ago but something else caught my eye.

Since you seem to have varied tastes: Being Human (US or UK version), Deadwood, Justified, and the Killing (Danish or US) are all good

Supernatural is a brilliant show, the first season is your monster of the week type format but near the end of the first season and the rest of the seasons after that it turns into one of the best shows on television. Same with Fringe if you are in the mood for more sci-fi.

Neil Jordan's The Borglas will be on SKY Atlantic soon and Camelot is bound to be shown somewhere.

    Seen it :)

Don't see Brotherhood on the list
Set in an Irish neighbourhood in Providence, the series reflects around two brothers on opposite sides of the law: one a gangster (Jason Isaacs) and the other a politician (Jason Clarke).

I'd definitely recommend Fringe for the sci-fi lover in you. Caprica too if you're a big BSG fan, though IMO it came nowhere near the same standard as BSG. I'm not pushed on Supernatural either myself; it's a pleasant enough way to while away a few hours but I find the writing and the characters very predictable and formulaic. I like to be surprised. :)

quite enjoyed that stargate universe too.. but bit pondering at times

Once Supernatural hits its stride its amazing... Definitely worth giving it another shot...

Dark Angel is a very good (and incredibly underrated) sci-fi show - about to give it a re-watch myself... If you haven't seen it, give it a shot...

I know you said you're looking for a Sci-Fi show, but if you want something a little more lighthearted try Community and Raising Hope...

The one with the ugliest female on the planet playing the daughter? I think it would have been renewed had it not been for that.:(

The lead, Eric Close, was also in another promising series that had the plug pulled on it, "Dark Skies".:(

    Jericho
    The 4400

I'll keep Warehouse 13 in mind, was actually going to watch that not too long ago but something else caught my eye.

You could also try Eureka, its another humorous scifi series by syfy, I think its even set in the same universe as warehouse 13 (there is a crossover in one episode).

These aren't scifi, but I would also suggest:
Archer (animated comedy, funniest thing on tv, funnier than south park)
Psych (light hearted detective buddy comedy show about a guy with amazing observation skills who pretends to be psychic)
Community (brilliant comedy about lawyer who is forced to go back to community college to get his degree, has a surprising amount of nerd humour)
Modern Family (great abc comedy about an extended family, blows sh*t family comedies like "The Middle" out of the water)

Eric Close is now starring in Chaos, a comedy about a CIA field team

ejmaztec was talking about this girl from Now and Then
seeming of fully Irish descent but adopted

You should take a look at The Lost Room, another sci-fi one. Peter Krause is the lead. Its brilliant, although its not very long so will only keep you going for a few hours

I'm finding the new season of Tough Enough very enjoyable. Stone Cold has turned out to be a great host

Justified is excellent. Also Brotherhood, Jericho and The Kill Point will all keep you amused.

I watched the first few episodes of Warehouse 13, the 2 part pilot was alright. The 3rd episode however was absolutely abysmal! I mean seriously,
    robbing banks with music?
    . Jebus wept!
