Am heading to Connemara for the Easter weekend (can't wait!!!!!!!).

Can anyone advise good spots for bass fishing around Roundstone, Ballyconneely, Clifden, etc.? Also, any advice or tips/techniques would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Bass... Connemara.. good luck with that!!!

unfortunately the west coast of Galway isn't renowned for any surf beaches, which is what bass usually populate, however the west Mayo and Clare beaches have good surf where bass can be regularly caught!

    Thanks for the information, stevecrow.

It was my belief that bass could be found almost anywhere, so I have learned something today.

Maybe I'll just do a bit of trout fishing in one of the lakes.
