With the schedule being announced today I'm hearing rumours that Giants @ Jets could possibly be the season opener!!

Be pretty unfair to take the opener away from the SB champions in my opinion.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Chicago Bears at Wembley on 23 October, should the 2011 NFL season go ahead.

If there is no resolution before the 1st August and the season goes ahead then the game will be in Tampa

I beleive the schedule is being released at midnight Irish time, on NFL Network.

I can't see why the would take the opening game away from SB champions, so I would guess the opener will probably be GB against either the Bears or Saints.

I would say that they will make the Jets and Giants primetime viewing opening week but it will be on Sunday Night Football. The Sunday falls on September 11th this year so the 10 year anniversary featuring both New York teams would be quite fitting

    Profootballtalk reporting for Week 1

    Giants @ Redskins
    Cowboys@Jets

I do agree both New York teams playing on September 11th could have worked very well

    Out now

I hope to god they sort out the CBA so I can see my Bears in London.

Also, Bears @ Pack on SNF Christmas Day! Yes! :D

No SNF action for the Chargers apart from week 15 and that could be changed :(

Its a very tough start with a few nice games towards the end. Looks like it could be another leave it till late season for The Chargers :D

I'm liking the Ravens schedule, very evenly spread for strong teams across the season.
Of course I know you can't judge games on paper but it's well spread out, that's all I say

Only one Monday night game, Ravens @ Jags

Ravens continue to be an unfashionable team to the networks :(

Not liking the Pats schedule too much. Weeks 6 to 13 are fair tough but the upside is that the last 3 games arent that bad.

    Colts opening two are ok.

@ Texans and then home to the Browns followed by a tricky one against the Steelers.

The Vikings have lost Brett Favre, and have gone from 6 prime time games last year to 2 in 2011. Ah well....

Giants Schedule looks very favourable on paper. Look for the Giants to go 5-1 before the bye in Week 7.

We will then face the big question to see if we can avoid what has happened the last 2 years and slumped to miss the playoffs.
