Not looking for medical advice, just wanna know what the craic is with blood tests. Can you get them done in any GP or is there a specific place I'd need to go?

    Thanks :)

Pretty sure you can go to a GP, OP. Normally takes a week or so to come back depending on the test.

Gp ususally, though it depends - if you visit the hospital/outpatients dpt. you can get them done for free by the phlebotomist instead.

soem GP's do them, some will refer you to the hospital outpatients, but as far as I know, you'll need to go through your GP first

If you are a student, college health services do them. It's not free like consultations are- should be €15.

The nurse in the GPs can do them... Saves €50 odd as well!

Just remember if you want your Cholestrol checked you should be fasting over night so book an early appointment.
