We could be in for one hell of a championship this year.

Munster could be very close this year and what a way to kick it off with a qf meeting between Tipp and Cork.In the semi finals Waterford take on Limerick which will be a very close game and then we have clare who will be waiting for the winners of the qf in the other semi final.

Leinster could be competitive this year. Wexford have shown that they could be a good team when they put 100% into there performance and could be a suprise team this year. Dublin have become one of the top teams in the country and could be very competitive this year. Galway will be strong this year and of course Kilkenny will be out to dominte this year.

    Munster- Tipperary
    Leinster- Galway

All ireland final - Kilkenny vs Galway
    All Ireland Winners- Kilkenny

    Ur opinions

I'd love to see Dublin get a trophy in the coming season, it's great to see them at the level they are at right now, hopefully they can be at least this competitive in the long term because we could do with a new power in hurling. If only similar gains could be made by Antrim and Laois and even Carlow.

Dublin All-Ireland contenders? Not yet, still need a bit more experience of big championship games- all they have had so far of any use to them are the Leinster championship games of 2009- they finally beat Wexford after coming agonisingly close a number of times in previous years and gave Kilkenng a very close game in the Leinster final. In the All-Ireland quarter final against Limerick- the difference between the two teams was Limerick's experience versus Dublins inexperience. 2010 had a touch of "second season syndrome" about it. Good win over Clare but disappointing to have been knocked out by Antrim. An All-Ireland quarter final place should be the target, a semi final place would be great progress and is within reach, can't see them getting beyond that just yet though.

Contenders; Kilkenny and Tipperary as usual, and Galway.
    Dark horses; Waterford, Cork, Dublin.

    Tip should take Munster
KK should take Leinster ( with a bit more of a struggle than normal)
Galway/Waterford/Dublin/Cork on their day can put it up to the big two - so the knockout stages is only when it will get seriously interesting.
There will be an amount of competitive matches in Munster - added to the above the fianlists of Div 2 seem to be motoring very well.
Taking everything into consideration - Tip for me to retain Liam, with many a twist and turn along the way.
    Bring it on the summer!!!!!

I'm obviously bias being from Cork but I honestly believe we'll be there or thereabouts in August. Not the best league but we have a few nice finds on last years team. McDonnell corner back, Egan on the wing, Pa Cronin looks a very handy mid fielder, Cian McCarthy looks to have learned from his demolishing in the semi final last year, Luke o Farrell is reasonably promising and I think Conor Lehane has the potential to be one of the best hurlers in the country. Genuinely mean that having watched a lot of him playing for Midleton in the past few years.

Some promising hurlers alright but club form does not necessarily transfrom into county form. Egan is a good hurler, O'farrell seems a good hurler but a bit on the weak side, McCarthy will be there or there abouts for a few years I reckon but Lehane is the one to watch for me - he has all the attributes to be a fantastic intercounty hurler.

leinster: as much as dublin have shown unbelievable improvement, i reckon it will still be a kilkenny/galway final with kilkenny being the victors

munster: more than likely a tipp and waterford final and really depends on form on the day. tipp have their off days and waterford, especially with the panel they have this year are serious contenders so its hard to match.

all ireland: to be honest i reckon it will be kilkenny vs either tipp/waterford/galway/dublin, (the likeliest in that order).

i could see a tipp victory this year, however i would love to see an upset.

an offaly and wexford all ireland final would be some craic :pac:

I fancy Waterford to win Munster, with perhaps Clare springing a suprise against Tipp(Who should beat Cork). I'm going for an upset in Leinster with Galway to win it. The all ireland will be anyones guess but I see a battle between Kilkenny/Waterford/Galway. Roll on Championship 2011!

For me, no one will beat Tipp this year. If they keep themselves grounded and focus on each game rather than looking forward to the All-Ireland final against KK (IMO), then they will win with something to spare.

Munster: Tipp to beat Waterford in the final.
Leinster: Kilkenny to get a severe test from Dublin, but will win by about 5 points.

At this moment in time, I'd say that the 4 semi-finalists would be: Tipp, KK, Waterford and either Cork or Galway.

    Dublin for League
    Tipp for Munster
    Galway or Dublin for Leinster
Either Tipp or Galway for AI

    Munster: Tipp or Waterford
Leinster: Slim chance that Galway or Dublin may beat Kilkenny

I would love to see Galway or Waterford win the All-Ireland especially as I'll have tickets for the quarter, semi and All Ireland final this year though I reckon Tipperary will put a stop to that.
