    Does anyone know the list of free Sky Digital Channels if you choose to cancel a subscription.

    take out your card power it off at the wall turn it back on.Without the card
    channel line will change ones you can view you get for free:)

    It's gas: You can get all the ITV channels and BBC channels when you take out the card but have to manually put them in when you've the card in. Stupid system!

    Your not serious! God they ahve every single thing rigged. Ruport Murdoch is a pain. I have recordings in the memory, its sky plus. I cant loose these recordings. Can that happen?

    You won't be able to watch recordings if you unsub as far as I know...watch them all first.

    It's not really Murdoch's fault for once. TV3 to blame for that one I think

    No I meant if I pulled out the card would I loose the data of recordings. I dont think I do. Ive it done now, i read that it only looses memory if the box system is reset.

    If you pull out the card, you will not lose any recordings, but you will lose the ability to play them while the card is out.

    Take a look at lyngsat for a list of fta channels available on 28.2E.

    Some of these will not be in the sky box epg, if the card is pulled out, and will have to be tuned manually, like itv, when the card is inserted.

    Ok, thank you. I much prefer the irish versions, even the news was different on sky this morning. No irish adverts or nothing, so the manual tuning is probbaly better, but id ont know how to do it yet. I'll put the card back in later and maybe have a go then, hopefully i'll have the 10 or 20 free for now. Their so cute now.

    Have a look at the Satellite forum there is an fta tuning guide there. It is centered around the skybox extra channels, so should be exaclty what you need.
