    Hey.
Doing the way on the May Bank Hol and aiming for 3 days. Are we just fooling ourselves?

from Marlay to Roundwood will be with just day bags where we will pick up our kit from a point........

    Day 1 Marlay to OldBridge
    Day 2 Oldbridge to Aughavannagh
    Day 3 Aughavannagh to Clonegal

    All advice appreciated.

Definitely Doable! But yeh make sure you are prepared and its only 3days so no need to go crazy with the kit (the weight will kill ya!). Good luck with it, I wish I was brave enough to just go out and do something similar!

Nice and steady goes it. Enduro set the record by running it from dawn to before dusk, in less than one day. For mere mortals like the rest of us over a few days should work out. If I was around I'd offer logicistal support down the 3rd stretch but unfortunately I'm off with IMRA in Connaught. Good luck.

Also, two friends of mine (Who were not ultrarunners, they were average IMRA runners and hill walkers) did the WW in less than 2 days totally self-supported.

Its definitely doable you could just book B&Bs that way you have to get to each point. I remember reading Moire O Sullivans blog and she wrote an account of her trip - seemed to do it over three days at a nice relaxed pace.

    Very doable in 3.
Have a vague hazy memory of two 17 years olds thinking Enduros record wasn't all that tough and giving it a lash.

Advice, pack more than 2 rice cripsy squares and a hot chicken fillet roll :P

    Have fun!!
