    lots of other v8's worthy of being called the best, but for sound alone, your not far away with that claim.

    Wonder why he isn't using the paddles instead of just the auto, I presume it would be quicker? And yes tis a beast of an engine although I love the sound of the SL55 AMG V8 rumble too.

    No supercharger in the new engine though,now merc are using a new engine for the s63/cl63 and sl63 a 5.5litre twin turbo v8 apparently the naturally aspirated 6.2 v8 didnt suit the bigger cars.
