02 Laguna - What is this cable/connector ?

    Can any one enlighten me on what this cable/connector is ? I found it just 'hanging' loose in the engine bay. The car is a 2002 Laguna 1.6 petrol.

    I can't see any obvious place it should go.

    Been having starting trouble recently - wondering if it is the cause of the problem?

    dont think that its meant to connect to anything as it seems to have a blanking plug inserted into it already ( though i could be wrong )

    Its blanked so its a plug for some feature that your car doesn't have.
