Working in Fashion

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice about getting in to fashion as a career,its something I have always been interested in but always got stuck in desk jobs and never went for it! I'd love to try and get my foot in the door now, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What area of fashion? There's so much to choose from! Styling, designing, PR, marketing, PA, buying, merchandising, sales... A little more information would be great. Are you interested in going to do a course to qualify in an area? What are the skills you have now that could be used, they could be useful on a CV for a job or internship.

Not sure what area you want to get into but there are loads of courses for fashion. These are going to be in Dublin because I'm a Dub and am not aware of anything that might go on outside the big schmoke. I think you may be a little to late to apply for some but it could give you ideas.
