Looking for a men's hair stylist

..Or at least that's what I'm guessing the thread title should be.

I'm 21, and have never kept my hair in any sort of style whatsoever, I'd normally just get it cut in the barbers every 6 weeks or so and leave it there. Over the last year or so I've been asking barbers whenever I got my hair cut what they'd do with my hair to make it a bit more interesting, but I never really find any of their suggestions to be very what I'm after. Can anyone recommend a particular stylist or salon that might be able to suggest a few more interesting things to do with it, preferably in the South Dublin area, and also relatively inexpensive if possible. Thanks!

The Merchant Barber and Bedford Stuy, both in Temple Bar, are the most popular among my male friends. They would all go for "styles" rather than just the standard cut.

Try Fabian in 'The Grafton Barber' (IFSC branch)...I have been going to him for years and have nothing but good things to say.

Thanks lads, I'll try out one of these tomorrow. Are any of them particularly cheap? I can't imagine they'd require appointments by the way, I assume I'm right in saying that?

Have a look at the Waldorf in Westmoreland Street.
