cydia source problem

    hi,
    updated and jailbroke, used pkgbackup to get all my old stuff back, now when i open cydia it takes an age to open and i get a load of http error messages. Google tells me to edit cydia.list. I do this edit out bad files and save/replace file. reboot phone and cydia.list reverts back to old file and problems persist.

    any help???

    the files are saved in upto 5 different places, i cant remember the locations but i'll try find out for you

    /private/etc/apt/ sources.list.d/ delete everything
    /private/var/lib/cydia delete the metadata list
    /private/var/lib/apt/list delete all folders except partial, delete everything inside partial but leave the folder

    theres 2 more that i edited before but cant find them
