I hope this is the most relevant forum.

Recently, about noon I get a call from an an unknown number. (I'm on 3 fwiw)
When I answer, I hear a dial tone as if its ringing someone else. I never waited for it to answer, but was wondering what this is? Is it some sort of scam that sodomizes my credit?

This has happened a good few mornings/noons.

are you with VHI? did you speak to them recently about your policy?

they tend to ring back, you answer and then it dials through to an 'operator'

If they keep ringing you, staying on the kine just once might be an idea, I'm fairly sure your credit can't be taken.

Remember to hang up if they tell you that your computer has a virus ;-)
