I'm using one of those coopers vessels for fermenting a lager at the mo but there is a slow leak in the tap. Anybody have any ideas on what to do. The open close mechanism for the tap uses hard plastic on hard plastic as a seal, how feckin dumb can ya get.

This is the type i'm talkin about

i see a lot of people using the coopers kits on here so a lot of you probably use these fermeters. anybody have similar issues?

any chance you could pear down a cork off a wine bottle to stuff it .

Does it leak even with the little stopper thing in it?
