Hey all, I'm a 28 year old woman and...

I hardly ever cry, it's not that I don't get sad-I do, I feel as if i want to cry but it rarely happens. I always was able to cry as a child and growing up it's just the last couple of years that it rarely happens.

I find this a bit strange really and was wondering has anybody else had this experience?

    Thanks

Maybe its the old cliche that "there are no tears left"?

Can you cry without tears or is it that you just can't cry full stop?

This might sound like a bit of a weird suggestion, but if you really want to cry could you watch maybe a sad film or something or listen to some sad music? I'm not saying you should be purposefully making yourself sad all the time, but sometimes it really helps just to get it out, I know if something bad has happened to me a good hard cry always makes me feel better.
Maybe just take some time alone and really listen to your thoughts, let yourself feel them, and if the tears come, don't stop them.
    Feel better OP :)
