Thats myself with Alice in Chains. I've also drummed onstage with Metallica, met QOTSA, Slayer, Trivium, Dropkick Murphys and a few others. Too lazy to go linking photos though!

Met Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain on the beach in Barcelona. Told them muzzle was my favourite tune of theirs and they played as their last encore that night. Awesome guys. (Jimmy was a bit of a prick though!)

Taken in 1983/1984 ( i think) ... I met the whole band including Cozy Powell but only got the 2 photos below

That picture with Corgan and Chamberlain is great. Corgan and Chamberlain look like they're doing a photo-shoot for NME while the two lads are doing the standard lad pose! Brilliant...

Mike was in the dressing room next door. Went in and talked with him for a good 20 mins and had afew beers. William signed/ruined this for me...



And got a plethora of other stuff signed too.



Still one of my favourite ever concert experiences.

No photos, but I have had a talk with Robert Fripp (King Crimson). He's one of those private people who doesn't want to deal with fans when he's "off duty", so I suppose that means he's not a "rocker" when he hasn't got a guitar in his hands. :cool:

Yep.... along with Neil Murray,Mel Galley and Cozy Powell ....It was the "Slide It In" tour...Which would make it 1984....they were playing the SFX and the pictures were taken in the Gresham Hotel in Dublin.... Ahh... the memories...:D:D:D

Class thread people. Joe Elliot is the only one I have met but was doing some work for him at the time so it never seemed appropriate to ask for a pic. He did however sign a ticket for my little sister when she was an audience member on that RTE music quiz thing with Ian Dempsey. Will try dig it up next time I am home:)

I did meet Laura Pleasants (Kylesa) after their gig a few years ago. Didn't get a pic though. (It did happen, no really!) She just appeared after their set and was signing autographs.

I'm such a nervous idiot though. The connection between my mouth and brain just stops and I end up saying stupid, random, inane sh!t.

If there was a competition running for this kbell would win! Amazing pics.

tell ya what though, even as an old bastard I wouldn't cross the road for Maiden but would be at the rails for Meshuggah. I'd hoped to catch them at Hellfest this year but cruelly I'll be playing a (non rock/metal) festival in France the same weekend.

Cormier is a hell of a nice guy and as for Cancer Bats, brilliant party band. I'm just annoyed that they are not hitting Dublin on the current tour.
