I attended one of my first love's funeral.

I haven't seen him and have scarcely thought of him for years.

I am so sad, I understand that he was a big part of my girlhood but as I say, I haven't thought of him in years.

My heart is breaking for his family and friends.

I feel a bit guilty or something for feeling so sad. An empty feeling.
