Just wondering does anybody know the legality of recumbents like this on irish roads?

There is one in Cork, its orange, see it going in and out from Haulbowline Naval Base.
When I saw it first I thought it was a project by the students in the marine college down there for the redbull race or something:D

quick google tells me that the threewheeled type are called velomobiles, the one in Cork is a waw I think!

It's not mechanically propelled (HPV) so it does not require insurance. Don't know about using cycle lanes but I'd imagine you'd be stopped regularly to "inspect" the vehicle.

Very boring paintjob. Needs flames, teeth and semi-naked wimmins.

I'd rather have the sponsorship from Conti.

When you emerge, you should urgently ask a passerby what year it is.
