1password is well respected for the 'Keychain' functionality listed.

    Thanks.
What is the keychain idea used for with what benefit?

I need a product to 'sandblast' the drive:)

The link you posted to was about a suite of products - keychain being one of - you didn't mention what bit of it you wanted.

If you just want to securely erase the drive, then you don't need to buy anything. The built-in disk utility, has format options including multi-pass versions that meet US DoD requirements.

fair comment as I did not specify.:(
I want something that will do what Cyberscrub does in the that it deletes all the temp stuff/cookies/downloads/history/stored passwords/ etc and then does the erasing.

As the disk utility will do the erasing, I just need the Mac equiv of ccleaner for windows

chrome/safari/firefox all have that built in, for redundent app files... osx doesnt have the problems with leftover reg files etc, so i doubt youll find anything along those lines tbh...

You can securely delete files using srm in a shell.
