    Yeah - saw it, not great.
    All a bit too Stephen Ambrose for my liking.
    If you were looking for another Band of Brothers - it doesn't match up.
    I'm waiting to see the Australian mini series Anzacs.

    Watched the whole series while not as good as BOB was still excellent. They went through pure hell.

    Enjoyable at best, not a patch on band of brothers.

    I waited for the boxset then watched it all one weekend, I liked it but as others mentioned it is not as good as band of brothers. Some episodes are fairly slow, which all adds to the characters development etc, but watching it in weekly installments might not do it any favours.

    I like what I've seen so far, Sky Atlantic I think :confused: It's different from BoB, but I went in not expecting it to be BoB and think that made a difference to my enjoyment of it.

    I found the start to be OK but went downhill, certainly nowhere near BOB. Europe was more of a sexy war with changing landscapes and the Germans were superior bad guys.
