Two weeks. I rang them last year and specifically asked that very question. They will not recommend any sooner than that, despite weather condition sayings etc, and so forth.

They say 3 weeks because smething todo with some weeds becoming posionus when sprayed or more palatable but if only weed wiped the rushes u should be alright after a week

    OP

Read the leaflet on the container. Following any other advice is 'hit or miss'

I had ewes in one part of the farm. Last year I let them up to another part so I could spray the rushes, nothing else. Rang the company and they put me onto the relevant fella who said animals out for two weeks :)

No. Before you put the stuff on would have been the ideal. But what would I know.

What had you planned on doing if you hadn't got your answer here, wing it? Lovely. Fair play

    Dear Mr Galway

Assuming it is just rushes - two weeks is the standard with holding time for animals. If there are poisonous weeds like ragwort, animals should not be let back in until they have disappeared.

I hope this answers your question, if you need anything else, please let me know

    Regards

    Brendan
