rang this morning and the lady who answered said that offer was valid until yesterday only.

They gave a special offer for 24hours. How frightfully nice of them!

That is - in a word - sad! It didn't say that on the ad, and that's just disingenuous. I take it they didn't offer you a deal then, Bailey99?

ya she just said the offer ended on sunday. So it was for 24hours which was fairly poor in my opinion.

A shame, as I had a nice little gang of us heading up there depending on availability.

Personally, I'd call them back tomorrow am and tell them you have a group who are interested... and that you tried to call on Sunday without any luck. And if that doesn't work (and you're still interested), ask to speak to the Director of Marketing.

I have no problems with fast and sharp tactical marketing offers (e.g. Bus Eireann on Twitter), but if they don't tell you what the deadline is, then it may be tactical but it's also dumb.
