Im thinking very VERY fake, only 1 real pic, no videos of it in the air.
But has created quite a stir online.
    What are your thoughts?

Fantasy: Buy his and hers for myself and the GF and fly around the place lake to lake.

I'd be interested to know the range of the thing. It could make my commute into work a lot more intersting and possibly cost effective if you take into account road traffic.

To answe my previous question on range. There are 3 versions one gives a range of 40km the other two 70km. I live 15km from my workplace as the crow flies and no doubt the take off and landing energy drain would take a heap out of the battery. It would be dodgy for a commuting solution.

I'm thinking more along the lines of just racking up cheap flight hours.

You need 1,500 for an ATP in the US. For most of those, it doesn't say what in.

Cessna are looking at an electric 172 with solar panels for range extension on the wings for that purpose. Not practical for going anywhere, but cheap for flying time.

I don't think it would count Manic Moran, as this thing would not be classed as an aircraft by the FAA.

You'd have to live on a VERY sheltered coast or a lake with similar beside your place of work to commute!
I am building hours myself and it hadn't even crossed my mind, one to keep an eye on.

Of which 500 must be a multi crew enviroment i.e. a aircraft require a crew of more than one. Also, this aircraft is not Group A.

Still leaves another thousand. At the rate I'm going, I'll need to just burn holes in the sky for 150 hours just for the commercial. After the incident in buffalo congress decided that you must have 1500 hours just to be SIC. That seriously increases the cost of entry into commercial aviation, there are going to be a lot of people just looking for somethingto simply build hours in, the cheaper the better.
