    The Craic Assault course - 'We will muck you up'

    25th June in Waterstown Park, Palmerstown, Dublin

    There is a short course of 5.5km and longer course of 10km so all levels of fitness can have the craic together
    23 obstacles to navigate.
    It is a race and will be chip timed but its also laid out to be a fun challenge so we would encourage the bravehearts, rubberbandits, doctors and nurses, catwomen (whatever you like to dress up in...) to strut your stuff in the mud.
    The 25th is a Saturday so we are going to organise a night out to follow up on the mornings adventures in Dublin

    Not sure about the wisdom of doing an assualt course with a plastic bag on your head!

    yes - they are coming in. If everyone who has contacted me enters we'll get off to decent start.
    We are part of the Palmerstown Festival starting on the 18th of June.

    Its a 'craicing' course (boom boom) in a park I bet most have never heard of - Waterstown Park. Good place to do some quick - flat to hill - running in regular succession btw :)

    No takers. Guess we'll have to nominate you to do the report Fi H... :)

    We've nailed down a few details that were not confirmed at the outset.

    Starting at 11am, Waterstown Park, Palmerstown (aka Mill Lane)

    Online entry closing this Thursday. You can enter on the day for €40 between 9am and 10am.

    The Craic Night out (later on) in Dtwo night club starts at 8pm and food will be served in a reserved area at 9.15pm to 9.30pm.

    The number of obstacles has increased to 25 for the 5.6km course and its 48 obstacles for the 10km. Thats a lot! I totally miss counted that!!!! :o

    The 10km will be tough if you decide to race it!! Its going to really challenge you - but thats what its all about....

    The course has water crossing that are deep so there will be Opt outs for those not confident in water.

    really looking forward to this one :p
